1. Introduction
Lumina Displays ("Lumina", "we", "our" or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information of users of the Lumina Displays mobile application ("App").
The App has been created to accompany a special promotional E-Ink display provided by Lumina Displays to selected customers, partners and industry colleagues.
The purpose of the App is to allow recipients to experience E-Ink technology firsthand by creating or selecting content and transferring supported content to the promotional E-Ink display using Near Field Communication (NFC).
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, how that information is used, and how we protect your privacy.
2. Our Approach to Privacy
The Lumina Displays App has been designed with privacy in mind.
The App does not require you to create a user account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number or address to use its core functionality.

3. NFC Communication
The App uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to communicate with compatible Lumina promotional E-Ink displays.
When you choose to transfer supported content to your E-Ink display, NFC functionality may be used to establish communication between your Apple device and the E-Ink display.
NFC communication is used solely for functionality associated with the compatible E-Ink display.
The App does not use NFC to track your location or monitor your activities.
4. Photos and Images
The App may allow you to select an image or photograph from your device for display on your E-Ink screen.
Where required, the App may request permission to access photos that you choose to use.
Selected images are accessed only to provide the functionality requested by you, such as preparing and transferring an image to your E-Ink display.
Lumina Displays does not use your selected personal images for advertising, marketing or profiling.
5. Camera
If the App allows you to take a photograph directly for use on your E-Ink display, it may request access to your device's camera.
Camera access is only used when you choose to use a feature that requires it.
Photographs taken or selected for your E-Ink display are not used by Lumina Displays for advertising or profiling.
6. Personal Information
The App does not require users to provide personal information as part of its normal operation.
If you voluntarily contact Lumina Displays through our website, email or another communication channel, we may receive information that you choose to provide.
This information may be used to respond to your enquiry, provide support, communicate with you about Lumina products or services, or maintain our business relationship with you.
7. Images and User Content
Images and other content selected or created within the App are used to provide the functionality requested by you.
Where processing can be performed directly on your device, content remains locally processed before being transferred to the compatible E-Ink display using NFC.
Lumina Displays does not sell your images or use them for advertising, profiling or unrelated marketing purposes.
8. Analytics and Diagnostic Information
The App itself does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising purposes.
Apple may provide Lumina Displays with limited diagnostic, crash or App Store usage information in accordance with your Apple device and privacy settings.
Such information may be used to identify technical problems, improve App stability and improve the user experience.
9. Advertising and Tracking
The Lumina Displays App does not use your information for cross-app or cross-website advertising tracking.
The App does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
The App does not use NFC interactions to create advertising profiles about users.
10. How Information Is Used
Information accessed by the App may be used to:
- Enable NFC communication with compatible Lumina E-Ink displays.
- Prepare and transfer user-selected content to an E-Ink display.

Lumina Displays takes reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure.

The Lumina Displays App and promotional E-Ink display are intended primarily for business, professional and promotional use.
The App is not specifically directed toward children, and Lumina Displays does not knowingly use the App to collect personal information from children.

You remain in control of permissions granted to the App through your Apple device.
Depending on the features available in the App, permissions may include:
